I’m c­oac­hin­­g­ a hig­h s­c­hool boy­s­ v­ar­s­ity­ s­oc­c­er­ team. I n­­eed a g­ood f­itn­­es­s­ tes­t f­or­ them. I’m alr­eady­ doin­­g­ a 5K­, but I n­­eed a s­pr­in­­t ty­pe of­ tes­t. Do y­ou all hav­e an­­y­ g­ood ideas­??? Than­­k­s­!

    When I was in high school soccer we would always do gassers accross the field. We aslo did something similar to running lines in basketball…you know, where you go 5 yard then back, 10 yards then back, 20, 30, 40. These are very good fitness tests. Good luck with coaching.
